Hardware Is Immortal

There are some things in life whose uses are so indispensable that history has proven how effective these items are. These are those that despite the advent of human technology have persisted despite their simple, yet effective purpose. I’m talking about promotional hardwares. These promotional items have been here for a long time, yet they are still pretty much relied upon by a lot of people.

Take promotional flashlights for example. There have been so many developments on energy technologies, yet these items are still prevalent today. From power production to transmission, technology has done some pretty good improvements but somehow, the use of handy light sources is still needed.

Unlike computer hardware which changes in only a matter of months, these promotional products are like classics. There have also been developments, yes, but the essence of its use is still there. It’s like an advanced version of the old-school materials.

Remember those promotional knives that you usually receive during parties? That’s also an example of what I’m talking about. The quality of knives is now remarkable, yet the essence is still the same – it’s still used to cut food. Regardless of the high tech improvements made on them, they are still the same thing.

Hardware is really eternal. I don’t see any diversion of this norm in the near any time soon. They were made as gifts, accessories in the house, giveaways and promotional items for that matter, but at the end of the day, it is the distinct purpose of these products that makes them immortal.
